Senpai Charlie Venes

Charlie started his karate career with the Sama Organisation when he was 8 years old. He gained his shodan in Sama Karate at the age of 12. From 2000 to 2003 he was very successful in their championships in both kumite and kata gaining seven 2nd places and winning the kumite in 01 and the team kumite in 02. Then when he was 13 he came over to the Crawley club. He retained his grade and regraded as a BKK Shodan on the 13th May 2007.
